Podcast episode 47: Thom Nees and the power of Serve Wenatchee Valley in fostering hope and averting homelessness
My guest this week is Thom Nees, the executive director of Serve Wenatchee Valley, an organization that is devoted to keeping families from slipping into homelessness in the Wenatchee Valley.
As many as 70 families a week receive assistance from the organization. They provide critical financial help in a time of crisis but they have become adept at helping foster a sense of hope in clients that is essential for people to move forward in their lives. So many of our neighbors living at the margins struggle and have lost hope.
The stories of transformation through Serve Wenatchee Valley are inspiring. I hope you enjoy the conversation and I invite you to support their work in keeping people from spiraling into homelessness. A contribution, modest or large, will allow you to become a partner in hope.
