Stemilt’s $150,000 grant to Lighthouse about halfway to being matched
Lighthouse Ministries is getting huge support from our community to meet the $150.00 challenge grant put up by Stemilt Inc. to refurbish a building at 410 S. Columbia St., board president Kyle Hendrickson tells me.
The new property, formerly the Watson Distributing warehouse, will consolidate Lighthouse services in one location. Those services include a soup kitchen and a medical and dental services and a food distribution center.
Other businesses include Complete Design Inc., EDY Construction, Walker’s Furniture, Piston Service of Wenatchee, Gates Construction, Inc., Jerry’s Auto Supply, Premiere One Properties, North Meridian Title and Escrow, McDougall and Sons, Sligar Excavation and Mitchell Paving.
