Community responses to existential questions at Pybus are riveting
I very much appreciate the community-building efforts that are a priority for the board and staff at Pybus Public Market.
This month, I have been drawn like a magnet to the blackboard sponsored by Confluence Health that invites individuals to answer the question: “Before I die, I want to…” I cannot go by that board without pondering the sometimes funny, sometimes poignant and occasionally off-the-wall responses. This project is a good reminder that life is short and to appreciate those around us.
We are indeed fortunate that our primary health care provider, Confluence, is controlled by local individuals who are dedicated to the community. With the walls at Pybus, the Confluence Health Foundation has found a wonderful way to engage the public in thinking about the deeper questions of life.
Aly Laris, the marketing and operations coordinator at Pybus, was kind enough to pass along some recent entries.
