Let’s help the Reddingtons tell their story about living with Alzheimer’s
It has been illuminating following the story in The World of Don Reddington, the Winthrop resident and former Wenatchee CPA, who has been writing about his experiences with Alzheimers. The stories were originally produced by our colleagues at the Methow Valley News, who graciously allowed us to reprint them for our readers.
Now his stories are being put together for a magazine-style publication, thanks to the Methow Valley News and the Reddingtons. This publication will expand public awareness of this disease and how our neighbors and their families are meeting each day with courage, resilience and fortitude.
Money is being raised to cover the cost of publication. Ginger Reddington told me $3,500 is still needed to cover the cost of publication. Time is running out for the fundraising effort, so please act now.

The Reddingtons are fondly remembered in the Wenatchee Valley and beyond. Let’s pull together as a community and find a way to help make this important project happen.
