This episode features Anni Ponder Hisey, the co-founder of Joyful Scholars Montessori in Wenatchee and focuses on the powerful way in which that approach inspires youngsters to use their talents to explore subjects, expand their horizons and encourages them to explore subjects to their hearts content. It’s an approach to education that is being replicated in traditional classrooms through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer and Math) project-based learning initiatives. She talks about the magic of the Montessori approach, how the approach fosters community building and provides some practical tips for parents to light the fire of curiosity in their children, regardless of where they go to school.
